Our focus

The Ghana Gas Forum (GGF) is an indigenous knowledge resource suited to players in the natural gas industry with shared interests in policymaking and gas monetization efforts within Ghana and the sub-region. It focuses squarely on relevant gas policy issues that impact the sustainable development of the gas sector by promoting a cross-disciplinary understanding of policy tools and options. 

Expert Panel

The 2019 expert panel feature eminent persons including  Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, Deputy Minister of Energy, Dr. K. K. Sarpong, Chief Executive Officer, Ghana National Petroleum Commission, Mr. Emmanuel Anyaeto, Managing Director, Integrated Gas & Energy Services, Dr. Ben Asante, Chief Executive Officer, Ghana National Gas Company, Mr. Ben Asante, General Manager, Geoscience, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Mr. Walter Perez, Managing Director, West Africa Gas Pipeline, Prof. Stephen Adei, Chairperson, National Development Planning Commission, Hon. Kwaku Kwarteng, Deputy Minister for Finance, Senam F. Gbeho, Executive Director, The Gas Consortium, Hon. Emmanuel Akwasi Gyamfi, Chairperson, Parliamentary Select-committee on Mines and Energy and Hon. Bright Mireku Duker, Vice Chairperson, Parliamentary Select-committee on Mines and Energy. The expert panel, senior representatives from the cross section of stakeholders and key players will enable rigorous discussions and exchanges among conference participants. GGF2019 is chaired by Mr. Charles Darku


​The 3-day forum features a Pre-Conference Networking Event, the Energy Minister's Session, Roundtable discussions and the CEO Interactive Session.  The forum provides an excellent opportunity for dialogue amongst the policymakers, leading industry experts and practitioners. It delivers a strategic, collaborative knowledge resource which promotes consensus-building and leads to recommendations aimed at resolving gas sector challenges.
